Given this is all about innovation, we wanted to provide you with some fun seating options so that you can; book seats for your team, network with the crowd or even get up close and personal on a couch, depending on your style we have the seating option just for you. There are four different seating options for you to choose from - if you're putting through a group booking, select the same seating type to sit together!

What is the format for this event?

For the Awards part of the evening, you'll be seated theatre-style. Pre and post Awards component, there'll be mixing and mingling, eating delicious food and drinking delightful beverages.

When you purchase your tickets, you have the option of four different kinds of seating. Some of the seats are limited. So get in quick to get your desired option! Please note, if you want to sit together, you need to choose the same seating style.

We will advise you of your seat number on the night via your micro-site. 

What is the dress code?

The event starts at 5pm, so we don't expect you to be dressed like a penguin or ultra-glam. But if that is your thing, then totally go for it! We draw the line at speedos...

What will it cost me?

An arm and a leg... just kidding! All tickets are $130 + GST.

Will I be fed?

Yup! We promise to feed and water you to ensure no one is hangry on the night. If you have special dietary requirements, just let us know when you book your tickets.

Seating Options

Given this is all about innovation we wanted to provide you with some fun seating options so that you can; book seats for your team, network with the crowd or even get up close and personal on a couch, depending on your style we have the seating option just for you. There are four different seating options for you to choose from - all seats are the same price.

There are only a certain number of each seat, so don’t miss out and choose wisely! Zones and seat numbers will be allocated to you via your micro-site on the night. If you book together, we will do our absolute best to seat you together (but no guarantees). You'll need to select the same seating style for everyone in your group booking if you'd like to sit together.

Theatre-Style Seating

The name really says it all. You'll be seated in traditional seats facing the screen, nice and close to the stage.

Cafe Table & Ottoman

Don't want to sit on a bar stool, but not a fan of the theatre-style seating? Seat yourself around a cafe table on a wee ottoman.

2-Seater Couch

Snuggle up with a friend and watch the Awards from a higher vantage point. The ticket price is for one seat on the couch.

Bar Leaner & Stool

Grab a stool & hang out with some other folk on a bar leaner. You'll be a bit further back, but nice and high so a great view point for all the action.

FAQs

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Yes it is, just bring the ticket along.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You can use either a printed ticket or an e-ticket on your mobile device.

What is the refund policy?

Tickets are not refundable but are transferrable to another attendee.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?

No problem, the ticket is still valid, as it is transferrable.

How do I know where I will be seated. Do I get a seat allocation?

Yes, this will be sent to you closer to the date of the event.

Who will I be seated with?

If you're booking more than one ticket in your order, please select the same seating style so we can place you together. We'll do our best to have you sitting with your crew - numbers permitting - but no guarantees.

And if you're just booking for yourself, not to worry - innovators are an inherently friendly bunch, so this is a great opportunity to meet someone new on the night!

What is the format for the event?

The NZ Innovation Awards is a theatre-style awards ceremony, with great wine, beverages and walk & fork style food.

What is the style of dress at the event?

It's a semi-formal event, we encourage you to come straight from work and enjoy the evening. Seriously, we want you to be comfortable!

Do I have to have entered the Awards to attend?

Nope. We encourage all innovators, entrepreneurs and business people to attend and join the fun!

I've already bought my ticket, but I'd like to change my seat type.

Unfortunately we can't change your seating style once booked, so please choose wisely when booking your tickets. This is a great opportunity to meet someone new on the night.
